What to expect from start to finish.
1.Booking
So, you're ready to book!? I am so excited you're here! Once we confirm your session date I will email your invoice and session agreement. Your 50% retainer is due at the time of booking to claim your spot on my calendar. After your retainer is received and agreement has been signed, you're all set!
2.Consultation & Planning
Now that you've booked your date, the planning begins!! We will schedule a time to chat about your session, either in person or by phone! This is a great time for me to get to know you and decide on the perfect location for your session! During the planning process I will also assist you on wardrobe decisions and encourage you to share any and all ideas, pintrest boards, etc.!!
3.Session Day
Today is the big day!! I will take it from here. All I want you to do is relax and enjoy the process. My sessions are laid back, I'll rarely ask you to just sit and smile for the camera!
4.Photo Delivery Day & Ordering Prints
Approximately 2-3 weeks from the day of your session, I will reach out with your gallery link and password. Your photos are ready for viewing and downloading! At this point you will also have access to my professional online print lab, so you can order prints directly from your gallery.

We live in Florida and the weather can be seriously unpredictable at times! Not to worry! We will touch base the morning of your session and make a plan to either keep an eye on the forecast or just go ahead and reschedule. I keep free dates on my calendar specifically for this reason!
My sessions are typically held outdoors. My favorite place to shoot is the beach! However there are plenty of beautiful local spots to choose from if the beach isn't your vibe. There are some really wonderful local studios if the session calls for it!
There are two windows of opportunity to get beautiful lighting for your photos. The first hour or 2 after sunrise and about an hour before sunset. I try my best to book within those time frames. However, for some people that just isn't possible and that's OK! I will always try my best to work with you and at the very least we will try and avoid the harsh mid-day light!
Yes! This package is actually the best value when broken down to cost-per-session. You will have one calendar year from the day you book to use your 4 sessions. When and how you choose to use your sessions is entirely up to you! All 4 sessions must be used by the end of the calendar year or any unused session will be forfeited.
I try to always remain very flexible and I completely understand that things come up! I ask that if you do need to reschedule for any reason, you try to wait no longer than 3 months. Rescheduling after 3 months will be considered a new session and as such will require a new retainer.
Kids are kids! They like to play, I would never expect a small child to "sit and smile for the camera" for any length of time, much less a half hour! If you have small children please come prepared with a light heart and an open mind and leave the rest to me. Snacks don't hurt either! Trust me, I've been there. I have 3 kids and my all time favorite photos are of them laughing and having fun. If for any reason your child is having an extremely off day, rest assured we can try again another day at no additional cost to you.
